1 Peter 3

1Pe 3:1  Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives,
1Pe 3:2  when they see the purity and reverence of your lives.
1Pe 3:3  Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes.
1Pe 3:4  Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.
1Pe 3:5  For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful. They were submissive to their own husbands,
1Pe 3:6  like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her master. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.
1Pe 3:7  Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
1Pe 3:8  Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble.
1Pe 3:9  Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.
1Pe 3:10  For, "Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech.
1Pe 3:11  He must turn from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it.
1Pe 3:12  For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
1Pe 3:13  Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?
1Pe 3:14  But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear what they fear ; do not be frightened."
1Pe 3:15  But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,
1Pe 3:16  keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.
1Pe 3:17  It is better, if it is God's will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
1Pe 3:18  For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit,
1Pe 3:19  through whom also he went and preached to the spirits in prison
1Pe 3:20  who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water,
1Pe 3:21  and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also--not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
1Pe 3:22  who has gone into heaven and is at God's right hand--with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.

River Taxi stop

Last December 2010, hubby and hosted a team from Sacramento California.
Part of the teams recreation was a trip to Taal Volcano in Tagaytay, but unfortunately
the place was closed for tourist due to some volcanic issue.  We instead brought them  to
Ilog Pasig for a boat taxi ride.

It was fun and was my first time as well. And during to one of our stop, one of our friend
took of picture of us.

don't know why I am laughing though :)

Christ's Disciple (by: Toph P.)

A Disciple doesn’t look back
He doesn’t make excuses
He made up his mind and knows were he is going
He is heading to Jerusalem; to embrace the cross were his master was crucified

He was called not to be served but to serve
He will often say, Lord here am I!
For He must deny himself and take up his cross daily
And often he hears His master saying “Come follow me!”

He was instructed not to love the world or anything in this world but to love His enemies
His food was the bread of life and His only thirst was for the living water
He is very careful to the yeast of the Pharisees
For he is not after to the purity of the law but to the purity of the heart

He seeks only the Kingdom of God and His righteousness
His principle in life was the Sermon on the Mount
For he is blessed to share the afflictions of his Master
His Glory was in shame because of his obedience in following the Good Shepherd

His only Mission was to preach the Kingdom of Heaven
For in them he found contentment and true meaning of his existence
Nothing in this world can stop him in serving his King
Like a sharp arrow in the hands of his mighty King!

The only reason why he live is for Christ, and for him to die is gain
Even death no longer has mastery over him for he already found life through Him
A slave whose only wish is that Christ may increase and that he may continually decrease
His faith was built by the grace that is in the eyes of the one who died for Him.

Nangangarap nalang muna...

Not going anywhere this time

We definitely not traveling this time because our little girl is only almost two months old only. But we are hoping that when she gets older we will be able to travel again.
I am actually wanting to go to this place in Cam. Sur. where you can do a lot of outside activities like zipline and a lot of other things that I don't know what its called.
I know someday.. we will be going somewhere as a family and that would be awesome.

Back Then (Taal Volcano)

Hubby and I got this beautiful opportunity to visit this place twice at the same year three years back.
The place looks like this very calm and peaceful unlike today that its ready to erupt any time.
People.. specially tourist are not allowed to see this place anymore because its not as safe as before.
I was just glad I capture some breathtaking view of this place.
